On Sunday 12th November, St Dominic's Welcoming the Stranger group held a very successful fundraising luncheon in support of refugees. Attendees were served food with a Middle Eastern flavour, and enjoyed a convivial meal with fellow parishioners and visitors from St John's Anglican Church Camberwell. Many thanks to Cynthia Viti for preparing the meal and organising prizes for the raffle. Also other members of the Welcoming the Stranger committee - Peter Charles, Denis Fitzgerald, John and Margaret Smith, Sr Margaret Fields, Hans and Heidi Zerno, Ezio Viti and Chris Wright who helped to set up and serve the meal. A special 'thank you' also to the St Dominic's Tennis Club for donating the major raffle prize - a $200 voucher to "Italy 1" in Burke Rd.
