On Sunday, the 4th of June- the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, 38 young parishioners celebrated their First Communion at St Dominic’s.
The Solemn Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by our parish priest, Fr Paul Rowse, OP.
26 St Dominic’s School students were joined by 12 young parishioners from other schools, along with their parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, and teachers as they received the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist for the first time.
The parish wish to thank St Dominic’s School community with the leadership of Mrs Natalie Kenny (principal), Mrs Viv Dean and Mrs Sarah Perronnet for their support in preparing the children and their families towards a greater appreciation of the Eucharist, ‘the source and summit of our Christian life’.
