On Thursday, 19 September, 40 young parishioners celebrated their Confirmation at St Dominic’s.
Eighteen St Dominic’s School students were joined by 20 young parishioners from other schools and 2 from our parish neighbour, St Cecilia’s, along with their sponsors, family, and teachers as they completed the Sacraments of Christian Initiation.
The Confirmation Mass was presided by Bishop Les Tomlinson (Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Sandhurst) with our parish priest, Fr Paul Rowse, OP and St Cecilia’s Fr Kevin McGovern.
St Dominic’s congratulates all Confirmands and prays that their hearts remain forever open to the unyielding Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
