With great thanksgiving to God, we began our centenary celebrations with the First Sunday of Advent, the first Sunday of the new liturgical year.
After the 9:30am Mass a dedicated group of parishioners met over morning tea to acknowledge where we have arrived in our common history. After the 11am Mass an even larger group followed the Blessed Sacrament in procession around the grounds before receiving Benediction; a shared lunch rounded off these happy beginnings.
May the Lord bless us all at his Advent. May he prepare us for our continuing mission to our friends, neighbours, and locals.
